CYNI - Current Year Net Income

Using CYNI Business Rule will get your monthly BalanceSheet always balanced.

1. Login Modeler → your application → CheckOut Account dimension.
2. Members tab → create CYNI row and make sure:
   1. AccountType = Equity
   2. RNodeType = L
      
3. Save
4. Go to Account dimension's Hierarchy tab → drag CYNI to BalanceSheet account.
   
5. Save and Deploy
6. CheckOut Financials model → Business Rules - New Rule
   1. Label = CYNI
   2. Type = Library
   3. OK
      
7. Click on Insert a new business rule step
   
8. Business Rule Selector → select Copy Account To Account → OK.
   
9. Business Rule Editor:
   1. Label = CYNI
   2. Label = CYNI
   3. DstMember = browse to CYNI account from Balance Sheet
   4. ScrMember = browse to Income Statement
   5. Time = Time
   6. ToDateOption = YTD
   7. When you click on close, it will popup ask you whether you would like to save it. Click on Yes.
      
10. Select the scenario, Time & Entity (leaf levels & for time, pls select only 1 year period) in the TestValues column.
11. Click on Save → click on Run Rule.
12. Rule execution completed successfully.
