Add a New Web Part

Browse to your SharePoint page where you want to add a web part. If the page is in Personal View change it to Shared View from the Modify Personal Page drop down menu in top right corner of the page and then follow these step to add a new web part:

  1. Click Modify Shared Page - Add Web Parts - Browse.

  2. Click on Virtual Server Gallery.

  3. Drag and drop a web part from Web Part List into a drop zone on the page. Or select a zone in the Add to list and then click Add.

  4. Click on link Click here to configure this web part on added web part.

  5. Then click button Open wizard… in the tool pane that appears to right in the page and follow the wizard to configure the web part.
